Job Description
Disney's Direct to Consumer (DTC) team oversees the Hulu and Disney+ streaming businesses within Disney Entertainment, helping to bring The Walt Disney Company's best-in-class storytelling to fans and families everywhere.

The Disney+ Global Subscriber Engagement and Content Programming team is responsible for leading content planning, scheduling, on-service merchandising, slate management, and programming insights that contribute to a cohesive strategic content approach for the service.

What You Will Do

The Content Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning of on-service live events, streams, and promotional assets. This role requires cross-functional collaboration with several teams, including Content Studios, Linear Networks, Distribution Operations, International Programming, Marketing, and Communications. This position reports into the Sr. Manager, Content Planning.

Responsibilities
• Manage live events, streams, and promotional assets on Disney+ with designated Studios and Networks, working closely with programming teams, operations, and US-based Global and International teams to execute, track, and report on these initiatives through the lifecycle of planning to live on service.
• Responsible for maintaining daily communication and positive relationships with Studios, Networks, Operations, Marketing, Comms, and Programming teams.
• Convey overall live and streams strategies into data-informed summaries and high-level presentations for executives and internal stakeholders.
• Represent Disney+ Content Planning & Scheduling in meetings with a professional and enthusiastic demeanor.
• Handle any challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, and act as project manager for ad hoc requests and deliverables as they arise.

Required Qualifications & Skills
• 3+ years of experience in live events, linear scheduling, content strategy, curation, lifecycle planning, and/or project management, preferably in digital media and entertainment. SVOD or Linear TV experience is desired.
• Skilled in identifying opportunities for improving title planning and recommending impactful business solutions.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Diplomatic mindset with a proven track record of effective teamwork in matrixed organizations.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands and competing priorities, with effective time management for oneself and others.
• High emotional intelligence and a collaborative spirit.
• Quick to adapt to new technologies and evolving organizations, thriving in fast-paced environments.
