Your Role Accountabilities…
• Responsible for managing Warner Bros Discovery Group international subsidiaries cash management and treasury cash operations.
• Overall management of Cash Management, ensuring adequate daily liquidity in various bank accounts and ensuring the cash pool is running smoothly and efficiently.
• Acting as a liaison between banking partners and internal business partners for all Treasury cash management related tasks.
• Managing short term cash investments with Banks, ensuring rates are competitive.
• Oversee the working capital facility insuring all funding/business requirements are met.
• Supervising the Treasury Analysts ensuring that daily cash operations for international cash function running smoothly – including approving treasury wire activity, overseeing cash transactions, managing short-term investments, and reviewing the work of the Analysts.
• Reviewing cash balances quarterly and working with tax/finance for dividend /cash repatriations.
• Coordinate with banking partners and business units to manage the setup and documentation related to opening, closing, and modifying bank accounts.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all bank accounts account information in the TMS.
• Review, maintain and update as required bank signatories with the Banks and within our TMS.
• Identify, analyze, and implement process improvements, including trouble shooting complex Treasury issues and integrating new products into current treasury operations processes.
• Manage the completion of treasury reporting requirements including daily, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc report requests.
• Managing IC loans, which includes coordination with internal business partners.
• Assist in supporting both internal and external audits of Treasury and ensuring compliance with all Treasury related controls and policies.
• Supporting the Treasury Director and wider Treasury Operations team in any Treasury projects such as Cash/Entity restructuring, Bank Fees and other adhoc projects.
• Maintain mapping rules and configuration data in the Kyriba TMS is up to date.
• Support, promote and manage development of the Treasury Analysts within the team.
Qualifications & Experience…
• Education higher- Degree in Finance/Accounting/Treasury
• Working experience in Treasury/liquidity management or banking experience
• Knowledge of International currencies, FX/money markets, knowledge of financial instruments and methods of their valuation
• Treasury Management experience (TMS) – Kyriba preferred.
• Knowledge and experience of the banking market in Poland and across International
• 6 years + in finance, including 3 years+ in team management.
• English language knowledge level advanced, C1
• Advanced knowledge of Excel including formula, pivots and lookups
• Attention to detail, accuracy, strong organizational skills is a Must.
• Must be able to work/collaborate in a global team environment which is fast paced, challenging, and changing.
