Who are we hiring?
Support the implementation of fan-focused brand strategies, campaign execution and fan engagement for Productions with a focus on the Christmas Spectacular, the Rockettes, venue tours and corporate/enterprise-wide initiatives. This individual will support the marketing strategy team and will be a point of contact with internal stakeholders, external agencies and partners to ensure effective development and execution of marketing efforts to achieve business goals.
What will you do?
• Support the marketing strategy team in execution of marketing functions, specifically strategy development and plan implementation, building out marketing calendars, tracking budgets and ensuring delivery of all marketing assets in-season and year-round.
• Role involves consultation with media, creative, insights, digital strategy and P&L teams. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies and partners to ensure effective development and execution of marketing efforts for Productions and venue brands and corporate initiatives.
• Development and ongoing execution and optimization of Christmas Spectacular and Rockettes marketing partnerships fulfillment.
• Develop a solid understanding of our consumers and fans by working directly with the insights / analytics / ticketing/sales teams to review available data, competitive activity, and sales volume. Assist in weekly reporting metrics and recommendations.
• Support and assist with marketing strategy implementation of MSG's venue brands and expansion efforts (i.e. new venues).
• Report to Senior Director Marketing Strategy and represent the Productions marketing strategy team at key meetings or on key projects.
• Create marketing recap/performance documentation at end of each show season/run.
• Management and tracking of all marketing budgets including direct costs, deliverables, agencies costs/fees, etc.
What do you need to succeed?
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 1+ years' experience in marketing or advertising with a strong background and interest in live entertainment, theater, venue attractions and current pop culture.
• Experience in creative development from writing a brief, legal review, approvals process, scheduling, production, and trafficking.
• Competency with analytics and interpretation of ticket sales, demographic, database, research and competitive data, to provide support for marketing efforts and recommendations.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, negotiation, project management and time management skills required.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Must have strong knowledge of NY marketplace.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Pay Range
$45,000 - $64,000 USD
