Role Description

Live Nation UK's Marketing Partnerships Division is looking for a Creative Director.

This role will help us develop breakthrough ideas and new platforms for prospective and existing strategic brand partners through the power of live music and Live Nation's arsenal of assets across festivals, venues and touring. We're looking for a passionate and inspiring strategic creative thinker and motivator who has a strong mix of creative and marketing acumen. You'll bring high level thought leadership and storytelling skills that combines commercial goals and Live Nation assets with music culture to solve brand's business challenges in collaboration with the Marketing & Creative Solutions team. Knowledge of current trends in music, culture and brand and experiential marketing is key.

The Team

Live Nation UK Marketing Partnerships architects, sells and manages the company's national corporate sponsorship programmes with the world's most recognizable brands. It's an exciting, fast-paced team that collaborates with all facets of Live Nation's business including festivals, venues, touring, ticketing, artists, content, media, promotions, and concert production. The Marketing & Creative Solutions team within Partnerships create innovative and engaging marketing platforms that are designed to solve client challenges through the powerful lens of live music culture. The Marketing & Creative Solutions team, our in-house strategy and creative experts, work in tandem with the sales team to form strategy, big ideas and business solutions for brands. Through needs analysis, fan insights, exhaustive research of the client and their audience, as well as internal ideation sessions, the team ultimately craft a strategic music marketing platform designed to solve brand's business objectives and KPIs. The programme concept is transformed into a visually stunning creative presentation highlighting Live Nation's arsenal of assets. No cookie cutter concepts, no copy and paste, just inspiring and fresh ideas alongside innovative vision designed to maximize brand reach and engagement through the power of live.

• Proven success developing and successfully pitching impactful and effective new creative concepts with a focus on experiential
• Depth of experience across:
• Creative direction
• Client facing presentations at a senior level – the ability to articulate what makes effective and impactful work and how it meets brand objectives
• Project management
• Track record of successfully delivering highly impactful creative on time and within budget
• Knowledge of and passion for music and popular culture, marketing trends
• Understanding of the creation of integrated campaigns across all marketing channels from digital, social media, paid media (secondarily, offline channels such as traditional print, OOH)
• Video/content related skills a plus (scripting, editing, producing, etc.)
• Strong understanding of live events a plus

What the role includes
• Hands on creative direction and concepting for experiential, digital and traditional creative in the live music space. Focus on large scale multi event experiential concepts and new propositions that enhance the fan experience.
• Present and clearly articulate vision and strategy behind ideas to executive level clients and internal stakeholders
• Help launch new commercial initiatives that promote Live Nation as a forward-thinking strategic partner and marketplace leader year-round. The SVP Marketing & Creative Solutions will offer guidance and oversight in some cases, and partnership in others.
• Oversee an existing, high performing graphic design team; guiding, motivating and mentoring for growth
• Collaborate with Marketing & Creative Solutions team VP, Brand Strategy on brand/category role in music and comms plans, leveraging the live music fan journey and our proprietary research
• Stimulate creative energy and nurture the talent within the Marketing & Creative Solutions team to inspire effective and impactful new business work
• Curate creative best practices through the lens of live music and the Live Nation ecosystem for existing brand partnerships to drive growth
• Brief and work with external producers, production agencies and vendors, as needed
• Direct the production of creative outputs, within client goals, timelines and budgets, as needed
