TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST (REMOTE/USA) - GRAY MEDIA GROUP
Job Summary/Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic & determined Talent Acquisition Specialist to help us recruit the best and brightest journalists at 113 local television stations. The ideal candidate has served as a news manager and knows how to hire producers, reporters, meteorologists and digital team members in a fast-paced environment. Our next Talent Acquisition Specialist MUST be an enthusiastic journalist who has a proven track record of success in a broadcast newsroom. Talent Acquisition Specialists are also responsible for building relationships with universities and colleges. The right candidate must be willing to travel and comfortable with public speaking. This is a REMOTE position.
Duties/Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Sourcing & recruiting candidates by using databases, social media, etc.
- Screen candidate resumes & job applications
- Assess candidates knowledge, soft skills and experience
- Interviewing
- Serve as a Gray TV ambassador
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 5+ years experience as a journalist, news management preferred
- Bachelor's degree in journalism or communications
