Job Description
THE JOB
We are seeking a Sr. Accountant I for the Latin American division, a segment of the Live Nation live music business to support with the day-to-day accounting, month-end close and international show settlement reconciliation. This person must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain relationships with other field accountants along with being a self-motivated individual with the ability to multitask.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Ensure LATAM financials are compliance with US GAAP, company procedures / policies, including SOA/SOX Compliance
• Reconciliation of Latin America event P&Ls
• Assist with Corporate Reporting – Monthly Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliation to Third Party Latin America Systems
• Reconcile General Ledger accounts and research to ensure accuracy
• Prepare and enter month end journal entries
• Maintains, controls, and reconciles accounts that are basic to moderately complex
• Assist with quarterly reporting and special projects as assigned
• Prepare deliverables for audits as requested
• Manage accounting for individual venue revenue and expense accounts
• Assist Accountants and Manager with account reconciliations or ad hoc requests
• Prepare and enter month end journal entries.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• CPA or CPA candidate prefered
• 4-7 years related work experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical and time management skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office – specifically Excel
• Oracle experience a plus
• Experience with system implementation a plus
• Bi-Lingual (Spanish) Required

The expected compensation for this position is:
$72,000.00 USD - $90,000.00 USD
** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
