Deals Writer, The Strategist

Job Description

The Strategist deals writer will cover sales on the site on a daily basis as well during key tentpole sales events like Prime Day, Black Friday/Cyber Monday, and Memorial Day. The ideal candidate is someone who is super organized, can manage working on a tight deadline while liaising with multiple teams, and is passionate about shopping, excellent at sniffing out deals, and helping people shop smartly.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Collaborate with our Deals Editor and Managing Editor on daily sales write-ups.
• Play a key role during sales events throughout the year.
• Work with the newsletter team on our Deals Alert newsletter.
• Expectation to work during sales holidays, includingThanksgiving and Cyber Weekend
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by editors

WHO YOU ARE
• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum one year professional writing experience required
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of the online shopping-sphere, across all categories (fashion, beauty, homewares, gadgets, kitchen, etc.)
• A love of a deal!

PAY TRANSPARENCY

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay for this position at the time of this posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.

Pay Range

$67,500 — $80,000 USD
