POSITION TITLE: Audio Production Coordinator
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Audio Production Coordinator assists with forecasting, capacity planning, and managing internal work schedules.
This is a hybrid in office role, located in Burbank, CA.
About the Team:
Global Operations works closely with the Client Services Department to accurately forecast the volume of work to come in. Responsibility includes facilitating capacity planning for Deluxe's audio facilities in Barcelona, Bangalore, Burbank, London, and Sydney. Deluxe is one of the world's leading localization providers in the entertainment industry. We provide clients with a worldwide service offering in over 50 languages for theatrical, home entertainment, broadcast TV, and streaming services.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Audio Production Coordinator is a support role designed to provide scheduling assistance for Audio Production and Client Services.
A Day in the Life of this position would include the following:
• Maintain and schedule daily work as requested by the client services department based on complexity of job and due date.
• Develop and nurture an understanding of audio procedures and processes.
• Develop an understanding of editor skill level to determine the appropriate person for the requested work order.
• Maintain a forecasting and capacity tracker across all Global teams.
• Create job schedules for audio editors as efficient as possible.
• Daily communication with our freelance audio team to provide coverage based on workload.
• Research previous orders and special projects as directed.
• Ensures audio requests are scheduled and completed by the assigned due date.
• Maintain grids and/or databases with daily status updates for respective clients to ensure the integrity of the information.
• Assist client services in providing project updates to project managers and other intercompany service teams.
• Monitor and update billing status for Leads/Directors.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as necessary to meet deadlines, complete projects, and/or address issues and concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA or BS degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of previous experience in post-production projection management/scheduling preferred.
• Must be proficient with mac software as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, and database applications.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced, large team environment.
• Individual must also be able to work independently within their own process.
• Previous experience in film, television, and/or audio restoration/preservation is preferred, but not required.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet project deadlines.
• Problem solver and positive attitude.
This role is based in Los Angeles, California and the base pay range for this role is $27.92 - $29.81 per hour. Actual amounts will vary depending on education, skills, experience, and geographic location.
