Job Description
Marketing - Seasonal Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
• General administrative support to the marketing department
• Coordination of internal communications for marketing department including organization of weekly staff meetings and the development and distribution of meeting notes and outcomes
• Traffic marketing campaign assets and creatives to owned and paid marketing channels.
• Conduct thorough ticket sales, activation, and brand research of other sports and entertainment teams and leagues
• Assist the Marketing Operations Manager on marketing creative tracking and requests.
• Assist with execution of local radio station promotions (both onsite and on air) alongside the Advertising Coordinator
• Assist with select special events and programs such as: Friday Night Party in the Park, Giveaways on Saturday, etc. (requires working designated games and offsite events including day/night games and on weekends)
• Coordinate all aspects of media trade agreements, including tickets, parking and merchandise with media partners
• Track and organize all special ticket package items when they arrive to Comerica Park, working closely with Ballpark Operations and Group Sales, in addition to all gate giveaway items with the Marketing Operations Manager
• Oversee departmental charity requests, which includes managing department autographed memorabilia inventory
• Manage credentials, security and parking requests for marketing-related programs and events
• Assist with other Marketing aspects as needed



Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• College senior or recent graduate (within 6 months)
• Prior internship or administrative experience
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Professional demeanor and attitude in office setting
Strong computer skills with high level of experience in Microsoft Office
• Detail oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions:
• Exposure to moderate noise level.
• Frequent visual/auditory attention.
• This position will require working non-traditional hours, including weekends and evenings.
